At Ashley House, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and are proud to be known as one of the most eco-friendly printing companies in the UK!

As a corporate partner in the Woodland Trust scheme, we've agreed to purchase at least 60 tonnes of carbon captured paper every year; one tonne of paper purchased by us equates to 1854m² of new woodland planted and half a tonne of CO2 captured.
In 2017, through our work with The Woodland Trust, we planted 1,791.59 m² of new native woodland in the UK and removed 71,664 kg of Carbon Dioxide through their Carbon Capture Scheme.
We're committed to environmentally friendly printing and are proud to be certified with ISO 14001 and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®).
We ensure that all of our paper is sourced from FSC®-certified mills and sustainable sources because we are passionate about the well-being of our environment, ecosystems and forests.
On our litho presses we use B2 and B3 chemistry-free plates. These plates have a longer lifespan than traditional, more toxic chemically processed plates. No chemistry and therefore no waste produced from processing printing plates, thus further reducing our environmental carbon footprint.
We use vegetable based inks and tightly control our stock and scheduling practices, ordering only the quantities of ink we need, and recycling any that go unused.
We recycle everything! Including waste paper, ink tins, used printing plates, wooden pallets and plastic wraps.
We even buy our energy from a green energy supplier. By using sustainable power, there’s less harm to the environment when using all of our machines and our green energy supplier works hard to ensure green energy is an option for everyone.
We only use delivery companies who comply with carbon emission standards.
