Ashley House are passionate about the environment and are one of the most environmentally friendly printers in the UK. We do our very best to source products for our customers which make a minimal impact on the environment, and we are continually working to ensure we leave the lightest possible footprint.
We're committed to environmentally friendly printing and are proud to be certified with ISO 14001 and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®).
We print on FSC® and recycled papers. All our FSC® papers are sourced from FSC® certified mills and all our papers are from sustainable sources. We're affiliated with the award-winning Woodland Trust Carbon Capture scheme, reducing our company's carbon footprint and replanting woodlands in the UK with native trees.
We use superior quality vegetable-based inks, which do not compromise the standard of our work.
We recycle all our waste products, from waste paper to ink tins, used printing plates, wooden pallets and plastics wraps… we recycle everything.
We even buy our energy from a green energy supplier.
Woodland Trust - Carbon Capture
Ashley House is affiliated with the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture scheme, winner of the Green IT Awards 'Best Carbon Scheme'. We reduce our company's carbon footprint by contributing to tree planting and new woodlands in the UK. As a corporate partner in the scheme, we've agreed to purchase at least 60 tonnes of carbon captured paper every year; one tonne of paper purchased by us equates to 1854m² of new woodland planted and half a tonne of CO2 captured.
