354,000 trees planted and counting

As one of the UK’s most environmentally friendly printing companies, we’re proud to work closely with The Woodland Trust, the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity to help restore native woodland across the country and we are the largest contributor to their Carbon Capture scheme in the South-West. The scheme allows businesses to mitigate carbon and demonstrate their sustainable development goals by funding woodland conservation and planting trees, which help absorb carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.

The Trust’s ambitions for the UK’s Woodland

Create - Creating native woods to tackle climate change and provide havens for wildlife and people.

Protect - Standing up for woods and trees, fighting to keep threatened ancient woodland safe and leading the battle against pests and diseases.

Restore - Bringing damaged ancient woods back to life, restoring irreplaceable habitats so wildlife can thrive.

We’re proud to share that through our work with The Woodland Trust Carbon Capture Scheme, and thanks to our customers opting for sustainable print, we have helped raise over £1.37m to date, planting more than 354,000 trees and capturing over 82,000 tonnes of CO2. So, when using us for your print, you are not only choosing a more sustainable option, but you are helping to restore native woodland and plant trees!

The Woodland Trust are continuing to invest in natural climate solutions by planting trees and we will continue to support them in making the UK a greener place to live. As part of the UK’s Net-Zero strategy, the Committee for Climate Change (CCC) recommends the planting of 30,000 hectares per year from 2024 to achieve 1.5 billion more trees by 2050 - this would increase UK woodland cover from its current level of 13% land use to around 17%, but the Trust is calling for the UK governments to go even further, to 19%.
