Proud to support
At Ashley House, we do everything possible to help make the world a better place, because quite simply, we care. By using us for your print, it allows us to support a range of charities and partner with some great campaigns.
We’re proud to support:
Surfers Against Sewage
Surfers Against Sewage is one of the UK’s most active and successful environmental charities. They have built a community dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife. As a member of their 250 Club, we do our bit to help protect the UK’s unique coastal environment alongside a powerful network of leaders, driving forward a movement for change.
The Woodland Trust is the UK's largest woodland conservation charity, with over 500,000 members and supporters and more than 1,000 sites, covering over 26,000 hectares all over the UK. We support the Woodland Trust by protecting, restoring and creating native woodland by planting more trees.
Woodland Carbon Capture Scheme
We're affiliated with the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture scheme. As a corporate partner in the scheme, we've agreed to reduce our carbon footprint and purchase at least 60 tonnes of carbon captured paper every year; one tonne of paper purchased by us equates to 1854m² of new woodland planted and half a tonne of CO2 captured.
Elmer's Big Parade in support of St Luke's Hospice
Elmer’s Big Parade in support of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth will be landing in Plymouth in Summer 2019. A trail of 40 Elmer the patchwork elephant inspired sculptures will be placed across Plymouth to create an exciting trail and raise awareness of the compassionate care provided by St Luke's Hospice. Each 3D Elmer sculpture will be uniquely decorated by a different artist and auctioned off at the end of the 10 weeks, generating funds to support the charity. We are proud to be supporting this fantastic project as print partners.
Printers Against Plastic
We're proud to be supporting the Printers Against Plastic campaign. Their mission is to reduce the dependency of single-use plastic across the printing industry and eliminate landfill waste by raising awareness, inspiring change and reducing plastic waste across the industry by 50% in 2019. As part of our support for this fantastic campaign, we supplied all members of the Ashley House team with sustainable packs, which included reusable shopping bags, water bottles and coffee cups, as well as wooden pens and pencils.
We're proud to be a member of Two Sides, a campaign raising awareness about the sustainability of print and paper by dispelling common misconceptions about its environmental impact. By informing consumers and businesses that print and paper are a truly sustainable way to communicate due to their recyclable and renewable qualities, it will ensure that print media remains effective for generations to come.
